Job summary

Methodist Health System in Mansfield, TX is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging. The role supports Radiologists and nursing staff, including sedation cases and venipuncture as needed.

Qualified candidates hold MQSA-compliant radiologic technologist credentials, ARRT(M) with Texas MRT or ARMRIT, and BLS from the American Heart Association. A minimum of one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Current ARRT certification (M) with Texas Department of State Health certification (MRT), or ARMRIT.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association.
• 1 year work experience preferred.

The MRI Technologist performs routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging. May perform venipuncture when indicated and assists the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases.

• Perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging as assigned.
• Assist Radiologist and Radiology nursing staff with sedation cases as needed.
• Perform venipuncture when indicated.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and meets MQSA guidelines.
• Licenses and Certifications:
  • Current ARRT certification (M) combined with Texas Department of State Health certification (MRT), or ARMRIT
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association
• Work Experience: 1 year work experience, preferred
