Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, is seeking an MRI Technologist to join the inpatient imaging team. The role requires competency in performing a variety of MRI procedures, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting physicians as needed.

You will be responsible for image manipulation and storage, with independent judgment and a focus on patient and staff safety in the MRI suite. A strong collaboration with radiology and clinical teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
• Must be ARRT and/or ARMRIT registered in Magnetic Resonance Imaging. BLS certified.
• Two (2) years of experience in a multi-disciplined Radiology department or approved MRI education program.
• Two (2) years' experience in MRI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to perform imaging procedures with patient safety and sterile technique when required.
• Manipulate data and images for interpretation and storage; assist physicians as needed.
• Work with minimal supervision, exercising independent judgment and initiative.
• Ensure safety of patients and staff in the MRI suite and screen patients per protocol.
