Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is seeking an MRI Tech I in Memphis to operate imaging equipment and perform procedures for a defined patient population. The role models the mission and values of MLH as it cares for the community.

The MRI Tech I will contribute to quality radiologic procedures, supervise learners occasionally, and uphold regulatory standards while delivering compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or diploma in Radiology is required.
• BLS certification is required by the employer.
• ARRT registration is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Knowledge of RIS/HIS/PACS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods.
• Assists in the development of others through guidance and teaching.
• Promotes professional practice of all members of the radiological services team.
• Monitors and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and policies.
• Manages resources such as supplies and equipment.
• Plans work and completes job responsibilities efficiently.
• Demonstrates professional work behavior and excellent customer service.
