Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, NC is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures with adherence to safety standards and established protocols.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, ensuring comfort, and producing high-quality images for radiologist interpretation. The role emphasizes MRI safety, patient screening, and collaboration with the radiology team in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Job description

Performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures and produces images for interpretation by a radiologist. Procedures will be performed according to departmental protocols, policies and procedures and established standards of practice. Assesses and monitors patients, and provides appropriate patient care. Must demonstrate competency in MRI safety practices with special attention given to screening patients for contraindications prior to scanning.
