Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a skilled MRI technologist to perform complex diagnostic MRI procedures under physician supervision. You will produce high-quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate has an accredited imaging program background, ARRT MR or AMRIT certification, and will obtain MRI Registry within 1 year of hire. BLS and state license requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited imaging program is required.
• ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification and related MRI training are required.
• MRI Registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification is required; state license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostic MRI procedures under physician supervision.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images with safety and efficiency.
• Send studies to reading station and document all procedures accurately.
• Complete all competencies within the introductory period and perform related duties as assigned.

Job description

Up to $20,000 Sign-on Bonus Based On Eligibility

Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner.

Completes required exams; sends studies to reading station for radiologist review, completes all associated documentation.

Performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, as requested by a licensed physician.

Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care.

Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.

Other related duties as assigned.

Required: Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program.

Licensure/Certification: AMRIT and/or ARRT (R) and documentation of MRI training

Must obtain MRI Registry within 1 year of hire.

BLS

Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience
