CommonSpirit Health seeks an MRI Tech to deliver high-quality magnetic resonance imaging in the medical imaging department. You will operate MRI scanners, position patients, and ensure safety and comfort while adhering to ACR guidelines and safety standards.

As our MRI Tech, you will provide quality patient care within the medical imaging department, performing high-quality images and exams while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs, and adhering to ACR practice guidelines and safety standards.
Every day you will operate MRI equipment, position patients, ensure image quality, act as a clinical resource to unit personnel, and serve as a role model for other associate technologists, continually assuring current standards of practice for the unit.
To be successful in this role, you will possess expertise in MRI imaging, strong technical skills, a deep understanding of ACR guidelines and safety standards, and the ability to effectively communicate, lead, and provide compassionate patient care.
Performs magnetic resonance scans to obtain high quality images while adhering to all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety.
Produces quality images in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.
Observes patient and equipment during the procedure and reports / documents unusual occurrences and records patient’s condition.
Maintains technical operation of equipment and notifies service when necessary.
Performs IV starts and contrast administration as required.
High School Diploma/G.E.D.
Registered Radiology Technologist; Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging R.T. (R) and (MR)(ARRT)
BLS from the American Heart Association
Associate's Degree, strongly preferred
Bachelor's Degree
One (1) year imaging experience, strongly preferred
