Job summary

Midstate Radiology Associates, LLC in Meriden, CT is seeking a Full-Time ROCC Technologist for the MidState Medical Center. The role supports ROCC MRI technologists, handles patient prep, IV access, and contrast preparations, with adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate AMA approved radiology program.
• Registered with ARRT (ARRT).
• CT state license.
• Maintenance of continuing education credits as required by licensure.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for MRI procedures by positioning them on the table and adhering to safety policies.
• Start intravenous sites and inject contrast according to protocols to assist radiologist.
• Maintain radiation safety and protect patients and staff.
• Clean and disinfect equipment and keep the area orderly.
• Input procedure data into RIS to capture charges and information.
• Collaborate with department teammates to provide quality service.
