Coquille Valley Hospital’s Radiology Department, now under new leadership, offers exciting opportunities for a Part‑Time Radiologic Technologist. The role requires ARRT (R), ARRT (CT) and MR certification, and an Oregon radiography license, with at least one year of recent related experience preferred.

CPR/BCLS, HIPAA compliance, and strict safety standards are required. The position involves patient positioning, imaging, image transfer, and routine clerical duties in a fast‑paced facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school and registered ARRT (R), ARRT (CT) and ARRT; MR required.
• Maintains state license as general radiographer and MR in Oregon.
• One year of recent related experience preferred.
• CPR/BCLS for Healthcare workers or equivalent required.
• HIPAA compliance and confidentiality required.
• Infection control and OSHA standards followed.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Health status meeting pre‑assignment medical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare facilities and calibrate equipment per procedures.
• Position patients and select imaging devices; adjust shields.
• Explain procedures and address patient questions.
• Assist MRI or radiographic procedures and monitor patient status.
• Ensure safety and radiation protection during procedures.
• Transfer images to E‑Rad storage and maintain documentation.
• Handle routine office duties including scheduling and billing codes.
