Job summary

Froedtert Health's MRI team at the Froedtert West Bend Hospital is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist. You will assist in daily department operations, support accreditation activities, and help optimize scanner/protocol performance.

You will mentor residents, participate in education, and perform advanced MRI procedures while collaborating with radiologists and physicists to develop guidelines. On-site role with a 40-hour week and shift details provided.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Completion of a 2 year Rad Tech program in an AMA approved school required; +1-2 years post-secondary education in clinical/technical field.
• ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology and ARRT Certification in Magnetic Resonance is required.
• BCLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Successful completion of cross-sectional anatomy class; formal preceptor training/credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily department operations and QA; act as key contact for research, accreditation, and protocols.
• Mentor residents and new MRI staff; preceptor to MRI Tech I & II; EPIC superuser.
• Perform routine and advanced diagnostic MRI procedures and refine scanning protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicists to develop procedures and test new protocols.
