Job summary

Oaklawn is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist with MRI certification to perform MRI exams and manage image distribution. The role requires careful adherence to MRI safety protocols and the ability to operate PACS systems for teleradiology.

The candidate will maintain knowledge of MRI techniques, coordinate with the health care team, and support the department with supply ordering and image documentation in a fast-paced clinical setting in Marshall, MI.

Qualifications

• Registered Radiologic Technologist with MRI certification or registry eligibility.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• MRI certification within two attempts or within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams in a professional and timely manner.
• Loan out MRI images as needed.
• Order storeroom supplies for the department.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MRI concepts, techniques, and protocols.
• Operate MRI and PACS webserver teleradiology equipment.
• Follow safety procedures to protect patients and staff during MRI procedures.
• Administer IV contrast when ordered, including use of power injector.
• Ensure proper patient handling and safety during procedures.
