Job summary

Kittitas Valley Healthcare (KVH) is seeking an MRI Technologist to join the Imaging Services team in Washington. The role involves reviewing imaging requests, verifying orders, and performing MRI scans with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include producing high-quality images for radiologist interpretation, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining professional standards. A JRCERT-approved program, ARRT, and BLS are required, with MRI certification or registry eligibility

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Radiology education program under the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
• ARRT registration as Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT MRI certification or registry eligible with successful completion of certification within 6 months of hire.
• Current Washington State DOH Radiologic Technologist Certification.
• Current American Heart Association BLS.

Responsibilities

• Review imaging requests for appropriateness and verification of physician orders.
• Perform MRI procedures safely, accurately and efficiently.
• Produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain professional development and keep up with best practices in MRI.
