Job summary

Rotating through departments ensures coverage and consistent service. Qualifications include a High School diploma, no prior experience required, and AHA BLS certification (non-licensed must obtain before orientation ends).

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalency.
• Experience: No previous experience required.
• Credentials: AHA BLS. Non-Licensed must obtain before end of orientation period.
• Knowledge and Skills: Basic computer skills.
• Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities: Able to remain calm and professional in fast-paced imaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up imaging room and prepare for scheduled examinations.
• Verify patient identity (name and date of birth) and explain studies to patient.
• Provide information to patients and families; deliver quality customer service.
• Safely transport patients between locations and assist with transfers.
• Position patient for exams and maintain patient comfort and modesty.
• Record exams accurately and follow billing procedures; rotate across departments as needed.
