Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related scientific field.
• Experience with MRI-based musculoskeletal research.
• Proficiency in MR image interpretation and manipulation.
• Experience with computer coding and statistical analysis.
• Two years minimum in muscle segmentation with lower-limb anatomy and dynamometer data collection.

Responsibilities

• Plan approach to experiments in lab and/or field based on scientific theory.
• Independently conduct experiments; maintain detailed records of experiments and outcomes.
• Apply theories and methods of life sciences to interpret results; suggest protocol modifications with senior researcher.
• Review literature to stay current with procedures and apply learnings to related research.
• Contribute to publication of findings and assist in preparing procedures, presentations, and proposals.
• Help with general lab maintenance; manage stock, inventory and safety records; provide general lab support.
• Assist with orientation and training of new staff or students on lab procedures or techniques.
