Job summary

MedQuest Imaging is seeking a patient-focused assistant to support MRI workflow at our imaging centers. You will prep patients for exams, assist technologists, manage IVs, and help secure reports and images for Radiologists.

Responsibilities include screening patients, assisting with paperwork, obtaining medical histories, and coordinating between technologists and Radiologists. Training provided; CPR certification required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or CMA/RMA/AMT-ARMA ARRT registration required.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients prior to exam.
• Assist patient with electronic paperwork.
• Obtain medical history from patient.
• Escort patient to changing room and ensure appropriate dress for exam.
• Escort patients to mobile MRI or exam room.
• Assist technologist in preparing MRI table and supplies.
• Start and remove IVs.
• Maintain linen inventory.
• Research availability and obtain reports/images requested by Radiologist.
• Serve as liaison between technologist and Radiologist.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Phlebotomy certification

Certified Medical Assistant certification (AAMA or NHA)

Registered Medical Assistant certification (AMT or ARMA)

ARRT registration (R, MR, CT, or M)
