Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our St. Louis Park center. You will work across three MRI scanners delivering high-quality imaging with patient-focused care.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 11:00am–7:30pm, with weekend rotation and no on-call. We offer training and relocation/sign-on bonus, and a commitment to clinical excellence across the U.S.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must be able to perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients before exam and verify identity.
• Explain MRI procedures and position patients.
• Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision.
• Adjust MRI scan parameters as needed.
• Follow physician orders and maintain RIS records.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and equipment.
• Maintain MRI equipment and accreditation standards.
• Assist with protocol manuals and software upgrades.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

The pay range for this position is $30.00-$49.06 based on direct and relevant experience.

There is a $8,000 relocation or sign on bonus for this role! RAYUS Radiology is looking for an MRI Technologistto join our team. As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technologist, you'll have the opportunity to work on three different MRI scanners at our St Louis Park center. Taking a patient centered approach, you will provide MRI services within professional standards and with excellent customer service. Each patient comes to our centers looking for answers. You will guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday from 11:00am-7:30pm, includes weekend rotation (no call). We are willing to train!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination, using two patient identifiers to ensure the correct patient and procedure
2. Explains and prepares patients for MRI procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned
3. Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeated scanned, while providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure
4. Adjusts MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed
5. Follows physicians' orders precisely, conforms to safety regulations, and accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
6. Maintains an orderly and clean work area including sanitized equipment promoting good safety habits for patients and team members
7. Maintains equipment in good working order; cleans and disinfects equipment after each use
8. Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements

(5%) MRI Department Support

1. Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades
2. Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary
3. Assists in the training of new team members, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable

(5%) Completes other tasks as assigned

Required:

1. High School diploma, or equivalent
2. Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
3. ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing, depending on State regulations and business need
4. Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
5. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
6. Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently
7. Certification in imaging specialty

1. Bilingual
