Travelling and on-call overtime may be required. A high school diploma or GED is required, with technical associate degree preferred and a valid driver's license.

The Operations Technician Trainee position is located at Marathon’s Pocatello, ID facility. This position works in and around petroleum products facilities executing Operations & Logistics, Damage Prevention, Right of Way Relations activities, and Terminal Rack duties. The successful candidate will perform such duties as: facilitating and monitoring pipeline movements and conducting product sampling; tank switches and cuts; assure accordance with all regulations in support of DOT, assisting carriers or drivers at the loading rack, maintaining VRU/VCU equipment, Environmental, Safety and Regulatory compliance. Travel, call-outs, and overtime will be required on an as-needed basis. The successful candidate is required to live within 45 minutes of the reporting location (Pocatello, ID).
