Job summary

Dragonfly Pond Works is seeking a Mowing Landscaping Crew Lead in Auburn, GA to lead daily mowing and maintenance tasks on stormwater ponds. You will manage workloads, plan equipment use, and supervise crew members to ensure quality work and safety adherence.

The role requires 1+ year of leadership and 2+ years of landscaping/pond maintenance experience, with ability to lift 50 lbs, work on slopes, and endure various weather conditions. Growth opportunities and stable, full-time hours offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year leadership experience as crew leader or supervisor.
• 2+ years in lake/pond maintenance, landscaping, or mowing.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Able to walk on steep slopes and work in various weather.
• Detail-oriented and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Mow, trim, prune stormwater ponds.
• Load/unload heavy equipment and materials.
• Schedule and monitor daily workloads.
• Plan and coordinate equipment and materials daily.
• Attend safety meetings and prepare timesheets.
• Safely drive company vehicles and transport crew.
• Maintain on-site communications with clients and subs.
• Travel 25%-75% overnight as required.

Mowing Landscaping Crew Lead

Pay: $20- $25 an hour- Full-time

Requirements

• Leadership: 1+ year as a crew leader, supervisor, or foreman in a related industry.
• Experience: 2+ years in lake/pond maintenance, landscaping, commercial mowing, turf management, or erosion control.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
• Ability to walk on steep slopes for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis.
• Ability to work on slopes, near water, and in various weather conditions.
• Results-driven with strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Mow, string trim, prune stormwater ponds.
• Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks.
• Schedule and monitor daily workloads.
• Plan, coordinate, and collect equipment and materials each day.
• Attend and participate in crew and department general and safety meetings.
• Prepare timesheets and other daily paperwork as required by the company.
• Safe driving of company owned vehicles trucks (with or without trailers) and transporting crew members.
• Maintain on-site relations and communications with clients, contractors and/or subcontractors.
• Overnight travel within and to nearby States is required 25%-75% of the time.

Safe operation and maintenance of the following equipment:

• Mowers - Stand on, walk behind, Ventrac.
• Edgers, string trimmers and chain saws
• Backpack blowers and sprayers
• Hand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes and pruning tools.
