Xylem Tree Experts seeks an Equipment Operator to run heavy equipment removing branches from electrical lines. You will follow safety rules, prepare gear, assist crew members, and help maintain equipment in daily operations.
Position requires outdoor work in varying weather, the ability to travel for storm restoration, and a valid CDL/DOT where applicable. A background check and drug screen are required.
The Equipment Operator operates heavy equipment of various types to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines.
Prior heavy equipment operating experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred
High School diploma or education equivalent preferred
Position requires employee to be able to pass a background check and drug screen as required for this job.
