Kendall Vegetation Services seeks an Equipment Operator to clear branches and debris from electrical lines using heavy equipment. This role emphasizes strong safety practices, daily equipment prep, and teamwork under the Foreperson’s direction.
The position requires outdoor work, physical stamina, CDL/DOT eligibility, and the ability to travel for storm restoration as needed; background check and drug screening are required.
The Equipment Operator operates heavy equipment of various types to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines.
Equipment Operators have no direct reports.
Prior heavy equipment operating experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.
High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.
Position requires employee to be able to pass a background check and drug screen as required for this job.
Must meet I-9 requirements.
