Job summary

Marathon Moving Services is seeking a Driver/Mover to join our team. You will travel to a different location each day, wrapping and loading boxes and furniture into a 26ft box truck. You’ll secure loads to prevent damage, unload at destinations, and provide excellent customer service to clients.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in all weather, has strong communication skills, and can lift heavy objects. Movers start at $18/hr and Drivers start at $20/hr with performance-based increases.

Job Summary

Marathon Moving Services is seeking a Driver/Mover to join our team! As a Driver/Mover, you will be traveling to a different location each day, ensuring boxes and furniture are properly wrapped, and loading everything specified into a 26ft box truck. You will also be responsible for securing the load properly to ensure nothing is damaged or destroyed, unloading the items at the destination, and providing excellent customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in all weather conditions, has strong customer service and communication skills, and can comfortably work on their feet lifting heavy objects. Experience is preferred! Movers start at $18/hr and Drivers start at $20/hr with performance-based pay increases.

Responsibilities

• Travel to each location and ensure all boxes are properly packed, and all furniture is ready to move safely
• Load everything into the truck or vehicle with the team, taking care to make sure everything is well organized and the load is properly distributed
• Secure all boxes, furniture, and equipment before moving
• Unload all boxes, furniture, and equipment, placing them in the designated rooms as noted by the owners
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment
