The Department of Neurology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine seeks a highly motivated Movement Disorders neurologist to join the Division as a full-time Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology on the Clinical Educator Track. The role encompasses inpatient and outpatient care and active involvement in resident education.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school (or foreign equivalent).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Fellowship training in Movement Disorders preferred.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient neurological care within UM Health System.
• Diagnose and manage movement disorders including Parkinson's disease, tremor, dystonia, and ataxia.
• Participate in outpatient clinics and inpatient consultative services.
• Teach and mentor neurology residents and fellows in clinical care and academic development.
• Engage in departmental conferences, educational programs, and multidisciplinary case discussions.
• Develop and present educational lectures and teaching conferences.
• Engage in clinical research initiatives and scholarly activities.
• Collaborate with faculty and interdisciplinary teams to advance patient care and academic excellence.
