Job summary

Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA invites two board-certified/eligible Neurologists with Movement Disorders fellowship to join the Department of Neurology under the leadership of Krish Sathian, Chair. This is a full-time clinical/academic role in a busy Movement Disorders clinic including deep brain stimulation cases.

The positions offer academic appointment at Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level with relocation assistance and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO/DO or equivalent degree required.
  • Board-certified or eligible in Neurology with Movement Disorders fellowship.
  • Experience with deep brain stimulation desirable.
  • License to practice in Pennsylvania required.
  • Narcotics certificates (federal/state) required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive neurology care in Movement Disorders clinic.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in education of students and trainees.
  • Contribute to academic activities and research within the department.

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine is seeking two board-certified/eligible Neurologists with fellowship training in Movement Disorders to join the Department of Neurology under the leadership of Krish Sathian, MBBS, PhD, Chair of Neurology. Penn State Health is a multi-hospital health system serving patients and communities across 29 counties in central Pennsylvania.

Position Requirements:
  • M.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.O., or equivalent degree
  • BC/BE Neurology with the completion of a Movement Disorders fellowship
  • Experience with deep brain stimulation desirable
  • Ability to acquire license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
  • Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates
