Job summary

Coleman Worldwide Moving is seeking a Mover to provide customer service by assisting in packing and loading household goods in a safe, timely and efficient manner. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, strong communication, and a willingness to travel locally and interstate.

A safety training course is required; previous moving experience is a plus. Compensation starts at $18 per hour and varies with experience; full-time on-site work with training and opportunities for advancement are

Qualifications

• Knowledge of proper packing procedures.
• Good communications skills.
• Must be willing to travel (local, intrastate and interstate).
• On-site safety training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Pack household belongings for customers using supplies supplied by the company.
• List household belongings on inventory sheets as they are packed and wrap household goods.
• Compute charges and capture information on bills of ladings.
• Mark boxes with inventory tags for proper documentation.
• Answer customer questions regarding packing of belongings.
• Assist loading trucks/containers for interstate movement.
• Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle.
• Perform work at warehouse as needed.
