Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Move-In Coordinator to support the move-in process for residents and families. You will partner with the sales team to ensure apartment readiness and a smooth transition, coordinating with facility staff to meet residents' needs and timelines.

The role emphasizes compassionate, collaborative care with flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, and travel between communities as required. Experience in customer service or healthcare is preferred.

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred.
  • Strong passion for geriatric advocacy and senior care.

  • 1+ year of face-to-face customer service experience.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Willing to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate clearly with facility team and customers.
  • Travel between communities/events may be required, including overnight stays.

Move-In Coordinator opportunity at Aster Place Assisted Living

The Move-in Coordinator at American Senior Communities plays a vital role in the sales and move-in process by working closely with the sales department, families, residents and community leaders.

Skills Needed
  • Supportive Presence: Creating a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents, prospective residents and loved ones.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Clear, effective communication with facility team and customers. Managing and facilitating apartment readiness and ensuring that families have everything they need for a smooth move in and transition to the community.
  • Teamwork: The ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents.
Requirements:
  • College Degree Preferred
  • Strong passion for geriatric advocacy and commitment to senior care excellence
  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff: Compassion, Accountability, Relationshipsand Excellence
  • One plus years of experience of customer service experience in a face-to-face setting
  • Previous health care experience preferred
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as sales/marketing responsibilities dictate
  • Dependable vehicle and willingness to use for travel between communities/events, which may include overnight stays
