Job summary

Cognito Systems, a PSI joint venture, seeks a PRN Athletic Trainer to support the Marine Corps’ SMIP program at the Mountain Warfare Training Center in Bridgeport, CA. This is scheduled leave coverage with on-site duties.

The candidate will hold CAATE-accredited degree, BOC certification, unrestricted state license, and US citizenship, with ability to pass background/drug screens and immunizations. Lift up to 45 lbs; on-site work in Bridgeport, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training (CAATE-accredited program).
• BOC certification current and NPI required.
• Unrestricted state license/registration/certification in any US state, DC, PR, Guam or USVI.
• Recent experience as a licensed Athletic Trainer.
• US Citizenship.
• Background check and drug screen required; current immunizations.
• Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs (20 kg).
• On-site work at Bridgeport, CA; schedule may change with mission needs.

Responsibilities

• PRN-backfill staffing for scheduled leave (M-F, 40-hour weeks).
• Be part of Cognito Systems' team supporting Marines' SMIP program.
• Work on-site at Bridgeport, CA.
• Coordinate with medical and training staff to prevent injuries and optimize performance.
