Job summary

Brundage Mountain Resort seeks a hands-on Lift & Tubing Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of resort lift services and the Activity Barn tubing hill. You will lead staff, schedule shifts, monitor safety, and coordinate with departments to optimize service and revenue.

The role requires strong leadership, customer focus, and experience managing outdoor operations. Expect to work evenings, weekends, and weather-dependent shifts in McCall, Idaho.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of managerial experience in lift operations, customer service, or outdoor recreation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Experience managing employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Basic accounting and financial management experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with Lightspeed and Entabeni POS systems is a plus.
• Mechanical experience with lift systems and outdoor equipment is preferred.
• Must be comfortable working with the public in an outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lift and Activity Barn operations, including scheduling, staff management, and compliance with safety standards.
• Manage labor and expenses within budget; ensure proper cash handling and ticketing procedures.
• Coordinate with marketing, guest services, F&B, and retail to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Ensure safety training and regulatory compliance for staff and equipment.
• Address guest concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and repeat visits.
