Mountain Capital Partners is seeking a Mechanic for Lee Canyon Resort in Las Vegas, NV to service and repair a diverse fleet used in mountain operations. The role requires performing inspections, preventative maintenance, and timely repairs for snowcats, loaders, snowmobiles, and support vehicles.

The candidate will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a demanding mountain environment, ensuring safety and reliability of the resort’s fleet and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing resort vehicles and equipment.
• Ability to perform scheduled preventative maintenance according to manufacturer recommendations.
• Capability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and related problems in a mountain environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair resort vehicles and equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance according to manufacturer recommendations and resort maintenance schedules.
• Perform oil changes, fluid services, filter replacements, lubrication, inspections, and other routine maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fuel, cooling, and other equipment-related problems.
• Repair and maintain gasoline and diesel-powered equipment.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems including hoses, fittings, cylinders, pumps, and related components.
• Diagnose and repair basic electrical systems including batteries, charging systems, starting systems, wiring, lighting, switches, and related components.
