Job summary

LA Superbikes is a Los Angeles shop that focuses on Japanese and European motorcycles. We are seeking an experienced motorcycle technician who takes pride in quality work and in delivering dependable service.

You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose complex issues, install parts and upgrades, document work accurately, and maintain a clean, safe workspace in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Technical experience as a motorcycle technician or mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Experience on Japanese and/or European motorcycles preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; motorcycle endorsement preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Japanese and European motorcycles.
• Complete scheduled services, inspections, and diagnostic work.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, fuel, and performance-related issues.
• Perform tire, brake, chain, suspension, and fluid services.
• Install accessories, aftermarket parts, and performance upgrades.
• Accurately document all work performed and parts needed.
• Communicate repair findings and progress clearly with the service team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Follow all shop procedures and safety standards.

Motorcycle Technician / Mechanic

LA Superbikes is looking for an experienced motorcycle technician who is passionate about motos and takes pride in quality work. We are a busy independent motorcycle shop servicing both Japanese and European motorcycles, including Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Ducati, BMW, Triumph, KTM, Aprilia, and more.

What You’ll Do

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Japanese and European motorcycles
• Complete scheduled services, inspections, and diagnostic work
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, fuel, and performance-related issues
• Perform tire, brake, chain, suspension, and fluid services
• Install accessories, aftermarket parts, and performance upgrades
• Accurately document all work performed and parts needed
• Communicate repair findings and progress clearly with the service team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Follow all shop procedures and safety standards

What We’re Looking For

• Previous motorcycle technician or mechanic experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability
• Experience working on Japanese and/or European motorcycles
• Valid driver’s license; motorcycle endorsement preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to safely lift, move, and secure motorcycles using proper equipment
• Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
• Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
• Genuine passion for motorcycles and riding culture

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with multiple Japanese and European brands
• Electrical and computer diagnostic experience
• Factory training or professional certifications
• Performance, accessory, or suspension installation experience
• Tire-changing and balancing experience
