Job summary

Sonic Powersports in Durham, NC is seeking a Driver/Porter for the Raging Bull Harley-Davidson location. You will assist with loading/unloading bikes and parts, drive equipment, and support dealership operations daily.

Ideal candidates are customer-focused, experienced with motorcycles of all sizes, and hold a valid driver’s license with a motorcycle endorsement (or willingness to obtain one). Must be able to lift up to 50 lb and safety inspect trucks and trailers weekly.

Qualifications

• Ability to get along with a broad customer base.
• Experience riding and handling motorcycles of all sizes.
• Current, valid Driver's License with a Motorcycle Endorsement or willing to obtain a motorcycle endorsement.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Detail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be detail and safety oriented; inspect a truck and 20ft trailer weekly to ensure tires, lighting and fluids are maintained.
• Back and maneuver a 20ft trailer safely and accurately in heavy traffic.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds of material.
• Safely balance and push a 600 to 800 lb motorcycle.
