Vern Eide Motoplex & Powerhouse is seeking experienced A & B Level Motorcycle and Powersports Service Technicians to join our Sioux Falls team. Earn $35–$45 per hour in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with opportunities for productivity incentives and growth through factory training.

Qualifications

• Motorcycle, powersports, or automotive technician experience required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Electrical diagnostic experience preferred.
• Must provide own tools.
• Valid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement required.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in motorcycles and powersports.
• Perform routine maintenance, services, and manufacturer-recommended repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic software, wiring diagrams, and service information systems effectively.
• Perform engine, drivetrain, suspension, and electrical repairs.
• Assemble, disassemble, and rebuild engines and major components.
• Set up new units and install accessories.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Communicate with service advisors, parts personnel, and management.
• Follow dealership and manufacturer processes.

Vern Eide Motoplex and Powerhouse is a dynamic and growing powersports dealership committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience through premium products, superior service, and a passion for the riding lifestyle. We are currently looking for experienced A & B-Level Motorcycle and Powersports Service Technicians to join our team in Sioux Falls.

We’re looking for skilled mechanics who take pride in their work, enjoy solving problems, and want to be a part of a team that shares their passion for powersports. Our hours are Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Compensation

$35-$45 per hour earning potential with hourly pay plus productivity incentives.

• Follow dealership and manufacturer processes and procedures

Requirements:

• Motorcycle, powersports, or automotive technician experience required
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Electrical diagnostic experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced or flat-rate environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Team-oriented with a customer-first attitude
• Must provide own tools
• ASE or manufacturer certifications preferred but not required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement required
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and maintain a clean driving record
