Job summary

Nidec Motor Corporation is seeking a windings operator to efficiently complete windings and winding components for electrical motors. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and work follows established guidelines under supervision.

Responsibilities include setup, quality checks, and adherence to materials, techniques and tolerances, with focus on safety and housekeeping in the work area.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write, and follow written BOM'S.
• Must have the ability to plan and perform a sequence of operations where standard operational methods are available.

Responsibilities

• Checks process sheets for spans, proper coil groups, insulation class, etc.
• Sets up equipment to proper specifications, using correct tooling.
• Makes general decisions as to quality of product and adjusts as necessary.
• Ensures proper materials, assembly techniques, and tolerances are met.
• Exercises good housekeeping in work area.
• Observes good safety practices in performance of job.
• Performs other job duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader.
