MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR (FORK LIFT OPERATOR)

The primary purpose of this position is to operate aircraft loading and servicing vehicles. May operate other tractor trailers or other types of gasoline, diesel, or electric powered wheeled vehicles typically with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of over 32,000 pounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Operates heavy load and aircraft loading vehicles. Operates aircraft loading vehicles or other tractor trailers and in-line trucks typically with a GVW of over 32,000 pounds in freight yard and on flightline as required.
• Loads and/or off-loads vehicles, such as aircraft loaders being prepared to transport cargo from the terminal to the aircraft or vice versa.
• Performs duties as a load team member, loading/off-loading/re-sequencing military and civilian aircraft.
• Cleans aircraft floors, seating areas, and lavatories. Removes all trash, foreign and domestic, from aircraft transiting the station.
• Performs Dispatcher duties. Dispatches load crews to load/unload aircraft.
