The National Park Service is seeking a Motor Vehicle Operator to support our road maintenance operations and fleet tasks. The role includes operating and maintaining a variety of motor vehicles and assisting with road crew activities as part of a dedicated team.
Career-Seasonal appointments provide the same benefits as Career appointments but are not year-round; you will work approximately January through November and be in a non-pay status for the remainder of the year.

You will serve as a Motor Vehicle Operator with National Park Service. Career-Seasonal appointments are permanent positions and include the same benefits as Career appointments, but do not provide work on a year-round basis. You will work for approximately January-November, and you will be in a non-pay status for the remainder of the year.
The major duties of the Motor Vehicle Operator position include, but are not limited to, the following: Operates and performs operator maintenance on multiple types of motor vehicles to include: Trucks, Dump Trucks, Stake trucks. Operate vehicles with trailers to haul earth, gravel, and sand. Remove Debris from roadways with truck mounted plows. Perform manual labor tasks as part of a road crew consisting of: Roadside Brushing, paint striping, sign installation, crack sealing, sealcoating.
