Tradesmen International is actively hiring experienced Motor Repair Technicians for projects around Michigan City, IN. This first shift role offers pay between $25 and $30 per hour, based on experience and skill level.

You will join a team focused on safety, productivity, and precision craftsmanship. Typical duties include disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of AC/DC motors, troubleshooting performance, and maintaining thorough service records.

Qualifications

• AC/DC motor repair experience preferred.
• Entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn will be considered.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Valid driver's license; must be available for on-site field work when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with disassembly, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and reassembly of AC/DC motors.
• Inspect motor components for wear, damage, and electrical or mechanical issues.
• Repair and replace motor components as needed.
• Assist with testing and troubleshooting motor performance.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Perform both shop and occasional on-site customer work.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Motor Repair Technicians for projects located in or around Michigan City, IN. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $25-$30/hour based on experience and skill level.
