You will supervise tasks, train crew members, and ensure quality workmanship across transportation projects in a dynamic field setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, adjusting for weather, supply, delivery, and personnel.
• Sustain daily safety meetings with all crew members at the start of each activity.
• Clarify and explain construction means and methods to crew members as needed.
• Delegating responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors.
• Providing resources and staffing to meet schedules, laws, regulations, and safety needs.
• Emphasizing safe use of tools and equipment and training on safety procedures.
• Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably.
• Regularly reporting project status to supervisors.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area and good housekeeping.

The Motor Grade Foreman oversees and performs motor grader operations while leading a crew to ensure precise grading, site preparation, and adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel.
• Sustain daily safety meetings with all crew members at the beginning of each different job activity.
• Clarify and explain, as needed, to all crew members the construction means and methods to be utilized during daily job activities.
• Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors
• Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices, and safety needs.
• Emphasizing the safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets, and procedures
• Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably
• Regularly reporting project status to supervisors.
• Ensuring a clean and organized work area and improving and maintaining good housekeeping practices.
