Job Description

Rogers Group, Inc., headquartered in Nashville, is a privately held aggregates and asphalt highway construction company operating in 12 states with over 3,000 employees. We have 86 quarries and 56 asphalt plants across Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.

Rogers Group is currently seeking a MOTOR GRADER OPERATOR for Southern Middle Tennessee Construction Operations based out of Columbia, TN. This position will work on a site grading crew doing site and utility projects in the northern middle Tennessee market.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience operating a Motor Grader to complete fine and finish grade work, with a strong focus on safety.

Job Details

• Full-Time
• Day Shift (some weekend or night work may be required)
• Wages based on experience; higher compensation for grading and equipment expertise

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to safety excellence
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fine grading and working with GPS control preferred
• Ability to operate equipment skillfully in challenging terrains
• Perform equipment servicing and maintenance as trained
• Conduct daily inspections with proper documentation
