Job summary

AMIConstruction,Inc. is seeking a skilled Motor Grader Operator to help prepare base layers for asphalt and concrete surfaces. You will read plans, grade to project specifications, and work with the crew to maintain schedules.

Experience with GPS or laser-guided systems and blade control is preferred. You’ll perform routine maintenance, report issues, and ensure compliance with safety policies. Candidates should have 2+ years finish grading experience and a valid driver’s license; weekend

Qualifications

• Operates motor graders to perform rough and finish grading.
• Minimum 2 years finish grading with a blade (grader).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Available to work weekends (specifically Saturday).

Responsibilities

• Operates motor graders to perform precise grading on construction sites.
• Uses GPS or laser-guided systems to achieve accurate grading per project specs.
• Reads and implements plans (rates, grades, slope, drainage) for correct grade.
• Follows safety and company policies.
• Collaborates with crew to relay expectations and promote motivation.
• Completes jobs within budget and on time.
• Performs routine maintenance and inspections on blades to ensure optimal performance.
• Reports issues, material needs, and progress to supervisors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
