Job summary

Apple seeks a Digital ASIC Architect within the Motion Sensing Hardware team in Austin, TX. You will own the digital architecture of motion sensing ASICs from concept through silicon, translating requirements into realizable systems with processors, DSP cores, and custom engines.

You will collaborate across circuit design, firmware, algorithms, software, and product teams, build high-level models, and author specifications that guide tape-out and mass production for world-class sensing

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in relevant industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience defining and taping out digital/mixed-signal ICs.

Responsibilities

• Define digital architecture for modules and IPs.
• Lead architecture reviews with stakeholders.
• Develop high-level models to prove architecture.
• Author IP- and IC-level specifications.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for tape-out readiness.
• Perform system-level validation and bring-up support.
