Job summary

Landon Bagley Productions seeks a motion graphics designer proficient in After Effects to create titles, lower thirds, animated logos, and explainer graphics for video-first projects, integrating into Premiere Pro timelines.

You will design 3D elements, craft typography, and deliver clean project files and mogrt templates for editors; a strong reel and solid typography fundamentals are essential, with ability to revise quickly.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, including keyframing, graph editor, expressions, shape layers, track mattes, 3D camera/lights, and plugins.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and working inside an editor's timeline, building/editing .mogrt templates, and handling Dynamic Link.
• Understanding of 3D — AE 3D space or Cinema 4D Lite, or Cinema 4D/Blender with ability to render and composite into AE.
• A reel showing motion titles and typography, not just static design.
• Strong typography and design fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Job description

We're looking for a motion graphics designer who lives inside After Effects. This is a video-first role: titles, lower thirds, kinetic type, animated logos, transitions, explainer graphics, and stylized 2D/3D elements that get composited into finished edits. You'll work directly with editors and deliver graphics that drop cleanly into Premiere Pro timelines.

What you'll do

• Design and animate title sequences, lower thirds, end cards, and typography for commercial, documentary, and social video
• Build animated logos, infographics, and explainer-style motion pieces from brief to final render
• Create and integrate 3D elements — extruded text, product/object animations, camera moves — into 2D compositions
• Deliver clean, organized project files and Motion Graphics Templates (.mogrt) that editors can adjust in Premiere without touching After Effects
• Match graphics to each project's brand, color, and pacing; take notes and revise fast

Required (non-negotiable)

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects — keyframing, graph editor, expressions, shape layers, track mattes, 3D camera/lights, and plugin workflows
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro — you can work inside an editor's timeline, build/edit .mogrt templates, and handle Dynamic Link
• Working understanding of 3D — either AE's native 3D space and Cinema 4D Lite, or a full 3D package (Cinema 4D, Blender) with the ability to render and composite into AE
• A reel showing motion titles and typography, not just static design
• Strong typography and design fundamentals

Nice to have

• Element 3D, Red Giant/Trapcode, or similar plugins
• Illustrator/Photoshop for asset prep
