Job description

As our next Motion Graphics Designer, you'll translate strategy into design that is both beautiful and built to perform. Earn $63,000 - $95,000, own outcomes, and grow your creative career with a team that values 3 years of real experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Frame the design rationale so mid-level approvers feel smart agreeing with you
• Convert vague fiercely-supportive adjectives from a brief into concrete, defensible choices
• Borrow structure from film editing to fix a Style Guides sequence that drags
• Stitch fragmented brand assets into a system that scales past ByteForge Labs's next phase
• Compose social cuts that read clearly with the sound off
• Iterate quickly on feedback while protecting design quality and intent

What You'll Bring

• An appetite for ownership that scales with the stakes
• Experience thriving in a mission-soaked, deadline-driven setting like ByteForge Labs
• An inclusive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
• Demonstrated comfort presenting to mid-level leadership
• A collaborator's reflex to share credit and absorb blame
• Proven leadership experience guiding mid-level-level initiatives

The team at ByteForge Labs is small, proudly-imperfect, and entirely convinced that Arlington is the best place to reinvent creative. Diverse perspectives make our creative work sharper, and we deliberately seek them out.

Pay is $63,000 - $95,000, growth is structured, mentorship is personal, and the flexible freelance schedule is non-negotiable in your favor.

Hiring is happening now, not last quarter, for this Motion Graphics Designer seat.
