American Society of Interior Designers, Inc. is seeking a Senior Motion Graphic Designer to craft high-end motion graphics for promotional materials supporting iconic properties in a hybrid Burbank environment.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compelling visuals for events, campaigns and productions. The role emphasizes creative ideation, industry-standard software proficiency, and staying ahead of techniques.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of motion graphics experience in entertainment/marketing.
• Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Strong knowledge of 3D tools: Cinema 4D, Maya, ZBrush.
• Experience creating main titles, promos, sizzle reels and event graphics.
• Hybrid schedule: Tue/Wed/Thu on-site, remote Mon/Fri.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualizes and designs high-end motion graphics for main titles, promos, sizzle reels, events and show packages.
• Executes designs into animated graphics for promotional materials.
• Oversees and critiques work with the team and leadership.
• Keeps up-to-date with the latest motion graphics techniques and plugins.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Description

• The Senior Motion Graphics Designer executes creative motion design solutions within a multi-disciplinary collaborative team for various promotional materials to support and market a wide variety of iconic properties in a creative capacity.
• You will have the unique opportunity to support a 100-year-old Media and Entertainment Organization. Warner Bros. is known for setting industry standards and creating premium entertainment.

Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role

• Conceptualizes and designs high end motion graphics for main titles, promos, sizzle reels, Comic-Con, experiential events, virtual events, digital outdoor, show packages, production cards, corporate brand identity, etc.
• Executes designs into stunning motion graphic animations for promotional marketing materials.
• Assists Executive Director, Motion Graphics in overseeing, reviewing, critiquing and g all work.
• Stays current with the latest techniques, plug-ins, video production and motion graphics to maintain innovation and growth.
• Researches the latest techniques in video production and motion graphics to maintain innovation and growth.
• Other job-related duties or projects as assigned

Must Have Skills / Requirements

• 1) Proficient in Adobe Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and strong working knowledge of 3D software (Cinema4D, Maya & Zbrush.)

• 2) Experience collaborating with other artists, directors, editors and producers on creative ideation and exploration, executing new designs and animations.

• 3) Availability for the hybrid schedule requirement – Tues, Wed, and Thurs. Remote Monday and Friday.

• 4) Entertainment Marketing experience
• a. 5+ years of experience; Entertainment marketing agencies or networks.
• 5) Reel or portfolio included in submission

Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements

• 1) Previous experience directing other designers and employment at a TV station, network or production company is a plus.
• 2) Degree or extensive experience in Film/Video Graphic Production or Communications preferred.

Technology Requirements:

• 1) Experienced in designing and animating high end motion graphics from concept to finish for main titles, promos, sizzle reels, activations, events, digital outdoor, show packages, production cards, etc.
• 2) Experience versioning graphics to various specifications including frame rates, aspect ratios, and codecs for various viewing platforms.
• 3) Experience performing visual effects tasks including tracking, match moving, keying, rotoscoping and compositing
• 4) Proficient in Adobe Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and strong working knowledge of 3D software (Cinema4D, Maya & Zbrush.)
• 5) Knowledge of state-of-the-art video/film/graphics production and post-production techniques and equipment.
• 6) Must be both MAC and PC proficient.

• 1) BA/BS Degree or other comparable training
