Job summary

Iris Worldwide in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Motion Design Intern for an 8-week program. You’ll work alongside our motion designers and creatives to tackle briefs and craft moving visuals for world-class clients.

This is a hands-on internship, not a coffee-run role. You’ll attend meetings, contribute to live projects, present to leaders at the end, and gain day-to-day agency experience in a hybrid ATL office, earning $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or graduated with a degree in motion design, art, graphic design or other relevant field.
• Experience or basic knowledge that includes some or all of the following: editing, motion design, animation.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Bonus if experience in Blender and/or Cinema 4D - we work on Mac
• Self-motivated, decisive and doesn’t mind diving into the deep end.

Responsibilities

**Motion Design Intern****Q4 2026 Internship**REPORTING TO: Motion Designer/Head of DesignLOCATION: Atlanta, GA

Hi, we’re Iris, and we’re looking for a Motion Design Intern for our Internship Program. But not just any old pixel pusher - You’ll be working alongside our team of motion designers, designers and creatives to crack tough briefs with moving visuals. You will get to experience the day-to-day of agency life, helping craft the work and bring to life some really amazing projects. You bring your weirdest thinking cap, a strong visual design point-of-view and inspiration across all creative disciplines. We’ll bring opportunities for you to collaborate with our team to produce work for some world-class clients across multimedia campaigns.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Your portfolio demonstrates you know what craft looks like, and you are excited to keep learning how to execute ideas and elevate motion craft across platforms.

• Pursuing or graduated with a degree in motion design, art, graphic design or other relevant field.

• Pursuing a career at an advertising/marketing agency, design studio, internal marketing department, or other relevant business.

• Experience or basic knowledge that includes some or all of the following: editing, motion design, animation.

• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Bonus if experience in Blender and/or Cinema 4D - we work on Mac

• Self-motivated, decisive and doesn’t mind diving into the deep end

About Our Internship Program

This is NOT a coffee-run and making copies internship! Interns will work alongside the rest of our team, attend meetings, and will be fully immersed in day-to-day agency life.

• Interns will work closely with their manager and colleagues and will contribute to the work the team is doing for clients.

• Interns will have the opportunity to present to leaders at the end of their internship

• Dates: 8 weeks

• 3 days/week (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday) required in ATL office

• Compensation: $18/hour
