Aquent Studios seeks an exceptional creative anchor to lead the conceptualization and visual design of in-store interactive demonstrations and retail displays. You will bridge brand storytelling with kinetic design, guiding a team from concept to global deployment and translating complex innovations into captivating visual stories.

You will own the motion graphics and design pipeline from storyboard to asset delivery, collaborating across disciplines to ensure high-quality output and brand

Qualifications

• Portfolio showing leadership and execution in motion graphics and interactive UI.
• End-to-end motion graphics lifecycle knowledge: storyboarding, animatics, keyframing, typography and screen formats.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat), Figma and collaboration tools like Miro.
• Experience as a mid-level Art Director or lead motion designer ready to guide a dedicated team.

We are searching for a creative anchor who can bridge brand storytelling with kinetic design, leading the conceptualization and visual design for cutting-edge in-store interactive demonstrations and retail displays. While your primary focus will be creative direction and concept development, you are a craft-first practitioner with end-to-end fluency in the motion graphics and digital retail production pipeline, fully capable of building assets from scratch. You will guide a dedicated team of visual designers and motion artists from initial concept to global deployment, making a tangible difference in how innovative products are discovered and understood by millions.

What You’ll Do

• Establish the creative vision, narrative frameworks, and UI layouts for interactive touch demos, companion screens, and ambient attract loops within retail spaces.
• Direct and mentor visual designers and motion artists, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality output through fast-paced production cycles.
• Translate complex software features, hardware innovations, and advanced capabilities into kinetic, intuitive stories that capture attention and drive product discovery.
• Own concepts from inception to prototype, developing high-fidelity storyboards, style frames, motion studies, and layout systems before delegating.
• Champion global brand standards, ensuring consistent application across diverse screen formats and retail environments.

Must-Have Qualifications

• A portfolio showcasing both high-level conceptual leadership (messaging frameworks, narrative demos) and exceptional execution-level craftsmanship in motion graphics and interactive UI.
• Solid grasp of the end-to-end motion graphics lifecycle, including storyboarding, animatics, keyframing, kinetic typography, screen aspect ratios, compression standards, and hardware performance limits.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat), Figma, and collaboration tools like Miro.
• This role is ideal for a high-caliber mid-level Art Director or lead motion designer ready to expand their scope and guide a dedicated team, where quality of execution and conceptual strength take precedence over years of experience.

Other Requirements

Compensation Range: $120,000-$160,000 DOE
