Job summary

Motion is seeking a Planner Scheduler to coordinate daily product flow and ensure orders ship on time. This role releases work orders, schedules multiple departments, and maintains communication with sales, procurement, and supervisors to meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have an associate's degree and 2+ years of related experience, with strong attention to detail and proven scheduling ability. On-site Plano, TX location with company benefits included.

Qualifications

• Typically an associate's degree plus 2+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to manage complex accounts and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Familiarity with scheduling and procurement processes.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and software.
• Strong communication, collaboration, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail essential for accurate planning.

Responsibilities

• Assigns products to orders and manages daily flow for order fulfillment.
• Releases work orders and schedules departments to ensure on-time shipping.
• Enters and receives transfers.
• Monitors material outages/shortages and coordinates with procurement.
• Communicates with sales, procurement and supervisors about orders.
• Provides system training as needed.
• May be main contact for specific customers.
