Job summary

Motion Industries Design Engineer position focuses on CAD designs, technical specifications, and product configurations aligned with customer specs and strategic plans. You will support production with system concepts across mechanical, electrical, tooling, and fixturing, while coordinating with sales, purchasing, and other departments to ensure timely delivery and accurate BOMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience in design, detailing, 3D CAD and machine design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales for quotes and delivery to client.
• Provide field support as needed.
• Develop mechanical, electrical, tooling, and fixturing concepts.
• Schedule production to meet deadlines with other departments.
• Create BOMs with pricing, labor estimates, and delivery dates.
• Coordinate with Purchasing on inventory and components.
• Update designs and docs reflecting changes from production.
