Jefferson Health's Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Sidney Kimmel Medical College is seeking a full-time Motility-Trained Gastroenterologist to join Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. The role focuses on advanced GI motility disorders within an academic medical center.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in clinical research and education, and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows while advancing motility care and scholarly

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• Advanced training in GI motility.
• Experience managing patients with complex gastrointestinal motility disorders.
• Eligibility for, or current possession of, a Pennsylvania medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for patients with complex esophageal, gastric, and intestinal motility disorders.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of gastroenterologists, surgeons, radiologists, and speech pathologists.
• Participate in clinical research related to gastrointestinal motility.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in innovation involving motility diagnostics and therapeutics.
• Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in the education of physicians within Jefferson's Gastroenterology Fellowship Program.
• Contribute to Jefferson's academic mission through scholarly activity and publications.
