Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Mosquito Control Technician to protect clients’ properties through hands-on outdoor work and precise treatments. You will travel to homes or businesses, survey sites, and apply larvicide to standing water, followed by barrier treatments using a backpack sprayer.

This seasonal position offers flexible scheduling, autonomous outdoor work, and a path to develop customer service and marketing skills while contributing to public health by reducing mosquito activity.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client homes or businesses to survey properties.

Mosquito Control Technician Job Description:

Mosquito Control Technician Requirements:

• No prior experience necessary
• Be at least 18 years old
• Have valid driver's license
• Be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs
• Be comfortable driving throughout the workday
• Enjoy working outdoors
• Be energetic, hardworking & reliable
• Possess excellent communication & customer service skills
• Excel in a position of independence & responsibility
