Job Title: Mortgage Trainer and Application Specialist
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 8:00am -5:00pm
General Job Summary:
Conducts and assists in the planning and development of mortgage system training for Residential Mortgage employees. Administration and maintenance of mortgage applications software. Ability to identify, research, and resolve system issues. Extensive contact with internal customers and outside vendors.
Organizational Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports the mission, vision and philosophy of the Bank. Complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures.
- Supports all functions that maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily front line support of system users which includes an understanding of mortgage division systems and functionality
- Review and test vendor regularly scheduled releases
- Assist with application maintenance and support tasks
- Provides training for all residential mortgage employees on internal mortgage systems as the need arises
- Maintains mortgage training manuals, testing/evaluation procedures, reference material, policy & procedures manual, and other educational materials as needed
- Available to travel to other mortgage office locations as requested
- Attends weekly, biweekly and monthly mortgage meetings and training seminars as determined by management
- Works with outside vendors to develop, test and implement enhancements to existing systems
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned to ensure efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
- Comply with all internal policies and procedures and Federal and State regulations and guidance

Minimum Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree, emphasis in Business Management or Information Technology preferred
Experience:
- Six months to one year of experience in an office environment
- 1 or more years of experience in residential lending industry preferred
- 2 or more years of experience in information technology
Specific Skills:
- Understanding of the mortgage origination process
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to an ever-changing environment
- Good training, organizational, oral and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of software and technology with the ability to adapt to new software applications
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Must demonstrate sound decision-making skills, responsibility, motivation, and professionalism
- Ability to partner and build trust within the organization
