Job summary

Univest in Souderton, PA seeks a Mortgage Servicing Specialist I to join the Loan Operations Team. You will support mortgage file processing, escrow payments, and loan entry in the Jack Henry Banking System to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, data entry, and Excel skills, with responsibilities spanning document imaging, tax reports, and investor reporting in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Understanding of mortgage loan documents and processing.
• Ability to enter data accurately and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Sort, label, and file loan files in vault.
• Process mail and FedEx packages.
• Scan documents into Microsoft Office and archive them in the Jack Henry banking system.
• Monitor Tax Reports received from LERETA Tax Services and add new bills to spreadsheet.
• Disburse payments from escrow for quarterly and yearly tax bills.
• Disburse payments from escrow for monthly payments to PMI companies.
• Input new mortgage loans to the JH Banking System and verify accuracy, especially with escrow amounts.
• Perform quality control of mortgage and escrow documents scanned in Synergy Imaging System after loan input.
• Fund mortgages sold to investors via Jack Henry and maintain Excel spreadsheet for reporting purposes.
• Respond to telephone and email requests from internal and external customers for mortgage loan information.
• Respond to telephone and email requests from internal and external customers for mortgage escrow information and handle annual escrow analysis statement questions.
• Process the addition and removal of escrow accounts based on investor guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

HOURS

Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Excellent customer service, telephone skills, written and verbal communication
• Understanding of mortgage loan documents and processing (including escrow)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and enter data accurately
• Advanced PC, Word, Excel skills
