Job summary

STCU is seeking a Home Loan Servicing Representative I to provide exceptional support to members and internal teams in mortgage and home equity loan servicing, from origination through payoff and lien release.

You will handle inquiries, escrow, lien releases, insurance documentation, and ensure compliance with FCRA, CFPB guidelines and policies while coordinating with third-party vendors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years in a member consultant/service role in a financial institution or at least one year in home loan lending; lending processes know-how preferred.
• FCRA/CFPB guidelines knowledge and compliance experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to mortgage and home equity servicing requests by members and internal teams via phone, email, and secure messaging.
• Maintain escrow accounts, lien releases, title accuracy, and insurance tracking.
• Support compliance with laws and credit union policies, ensuring accurate credit reporting.
• Perform QC audits, verify loan setup, process third-party disbursements, and manage escrow tasks.
